In 1996 I did the Kailash Trek 'physically' alone and after it's completion had no serious plans of going back there again.
But now it seems as if the 'call' had come. Somewhere in the beginning of 2002 I was prompted by a soulmate to do the 'inner parikrama' who also fed me with a lot of study material like maps, articles, notes, books, etc and abundance of moral support and confidence.
Finally, me and Umesh (my cousin from Mumbai who had trekked to Kaliash alone in 1999) did venture and completed the forbidden inner kora of Kailash. We also did the regular outer parikrama of 51 kms in 17 hours in just a single day.
I am sure the experiences narrated in the pages will keep you glued to the blog.
